Non-verbal Autism & Crying

A difficult part of my son’s autism (whether or not it is related to being primarily non-verbal) is his sudden outburst of tears and/or crying. He can go from happy, sad or upset within minutes, and sometimes will experience the highs and lows of various emotions. I am very in tune with his likes and comforts and try to support him emotionally with unconditional and supportive love.
